One would be excused for thinking it was the middle of winter on Sunday morning! It was raining all day and the air was chilly. Top that off with a freezing cold ocean and you had a great character building Surfskischool day.

The character building part came in fighting off the tempting sleep in weather, then braving the ruthless walkers who had roads closed all over the show. As far as paddling conditions go, it was stunningly perfect. Beautifully flat with a gentle shorebreak is the scene that awaited us as we walked across the gravel slipway. And the way it looked was the way it was. It was a great day for learning on.

This Saturday 14 November looks like it is going to be fantastic again, so best you get your bookings in early.
